What will Blair Waldorf and Serena Van Der Woodsen wear to Prom?
Marchesa and Christian Dior.
Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, will wear the stunningly mesmerizing Marchesa Spring 2008 black silk tulle ball gown, with gold left appliqués on an upcoming episode, due to air May, 11.
This gown is a real show stopper.
Dita von Teese won a Who Wore It Better? challenge with the designer of this gown, Georgina Chapman, and Penelope Cruz sizzled in this gown for her Vogue December 2007 editorial.

Blake Lively as Serena Van Der Woodsen will wear a pink crystallized Christian Dior Spring 2009 halter gown. You may remember that Eva Mendes wore the same dress to the Art of Elysium 2nd Annual Heaven Gala back in January.
I love Leighton’s ball gown, Blake’s gown is very predictable, and kinda loses it’s appeal without the belt.

What’s up with those two dresses? Will someone tell them it’s about time to push them aside?
The Marchesa gown became especially annoying – although I liked it at first. To wear tiara with it was a horrible idea.

Love the Marchesa dress but hate the tiara – I think they overdo it a little with Blair’s headband love! Blake’s girls are crying out for some support in that Dior dress, don’t you think?
Ling, you’re so right. That’s the unfortunate sort of dress that always takes women with anything resembling a bust straight to Sagtown
It’s not a regular tiara, she is a prom queen! And it’s not on her head all the time!
Leighton’s dress is too well known, and it means that her outfit just doesn’t feel that special. Oh, well.
I LOVE the Marchesa gown! It’s something I could’ve dreamed about as a little girl.. Gorgeous!
