Before Beyonce Knowles left the US to start her world tour, she popped by the Today Show, to talk to Matt Lauer about music, her new film Obsessed, and she also took the stage for a live performance of her hit single Halo.

The singer-actress wore a very lady-like Tadashi Shoji Fall 2009 satin dress, with a draped shoulder in desert blossom.

The gorgeous dress was worn without the jeweled detail on the shoulder, and without the black sash around the waist, which were both present on the runway.

She wore her dress with black patent YSL Trib Two’s, and I think this look was a great way for B to end a fantastic week.

I love how she finally realizes she doesn’t need to look futuristic/trendy/GaGa/Pugh-y or whatever you want to call it and seems to have quit trying so hard… So kudos to her!

But honestly, those Trib Two heels ruin this look for me.
