When I first saw Drew Barrymore in this ruched Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2009 off-the-shoulder dress, with puffy sleeves, and velvet detailing, I wasn’t too keen.
The more pictures I looked at, the more I fell in love with this dress. Drew loves the dress, as she playfully poses for the paparazzi. She owns the dress, and doesn’t get lost behind those voluminous sleeves.
Wearing that sexy berry lip colour again, and her hair pulled back with a braided bun, Drew went from her Alberta Ferretti old Hollywood look, to a playful sex kitten in the space of 24 hours.
She’s very much becoming our girl of the moment.
Her look was complete with two-tone Giuseppe Zanotti cut-out patent sandals, which are available from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $650, or the international site for £415/€440.

It’s a bit much to wear for this show, but no matter, she looks fabulous! On anyone else the dress would have been wearing her, but she is definitely working it!

Oh WOW! Drew has become MY girl of the moment. I always thought she was a beautiful girl, but recently she’s gone from beautiful, to fierce, to sexy… I’d never imagine that the girl that played in Charlies Angels would become such a fashion icon! She works the dress, which I love and the red lips really add an edge to the look. I just hope she doesn’t become a Scarlett Johanson or Christina Aguilera and stick to this look forever.
I actually watched this episode of David Letterman, and my jaw dropped when Drew walked out! She was working the hell out of this ensemble. She’s turning into a true fashion icon. She pulls off these dramatic, daring looks with such elegance, style, and class.

I love how drew owns the dress instead of the dress owning her…but i do prefer the model’s shoe choice,not really fond of these two tone shoes…either do completely nude shoes or no nude,the two tone does not really work for me

I love Drew but her tattoos are really not classy. They’re doing her no favors in outfits that expose them. Therefore, I prefer her in floor-length gowns.
