This is a first time I have ever done a runway comparison with a male celebrity.
When it comes to Michael Jackson, I thought he was done shocking me, but when I saw this picture of him leaving a meeting in LA last week wearing a Balmain Fall 2009 black and silver embellished top, my jaw hit the floor.
Even female celebs would find it hard to get their hands on pieces from this coveted Fall 2009 collection.
After this collection was presented, a few journalists had said 80s Michael Jackson must have been the inspiration for this collection, with the crystal-studded jackets and disco mini-dresses. I guess they were right.
I wonder what he will wear next.

wow, i was so surprised when i saw the title. i didn’t know what he’d be wearing. i actually thought he was going to be wearing one of those military inspired jackets like what he sported for one of his famous music videos.
that shirt is awesome. i’d love if it was a bit more fitted though.

The Balmain hype is blowing way out of proportions. Such things only end up working against the label. (See Herve Leger!) Everybody and their mother start wearing it, and soon enough it’ll lose its high fashion relevance.
