In Mischa Barton’s Closet – Matthew Williamson Sequin Dress

Mischa Barton was one of the many stars that attended Matthew Williamson boutique opening party in New York during Fashion Week.

It wasn’t a surprise to see the sometime actress, sometime model, sometime designer, at this event, as she has long been faithful to Matthew Williamson, and often seen in his clothes.

For his special night she opted for a Mosaic sequined dress.

This bedazzling mosaic sequin sheath dress will make you a modern day flapper girl, if you pair it with a metallic t-bar heels, and long beads. You can buy it from Net-A-Porter’s international site £1,463/€1,875.

I know they’re not very famous but I thought you might appreciate seeing Julia Restoin roitfeld in balmain (without tights) and Dasha looks amazing. I love how she paired the rodarte dress with a great leather jacket and beautiful clutch. Just though u might like it:

The comment above mine is kind of ridiculous considering the fair amount of time that you have already mentioned Roitfeld in your blog; what’s their lack of celebrity have to do with their style? Wow.

Anyways, the dress and Williamson are both great–unfortunately he has some fans that aren’t too great, that’s all I’ll say :)

While I find no need to defend myself, this wasn’t a high profile red carpet event and I just saw these pics and thought that on the off chance if FC hadnt seen them, she might like them thats all. And I never suggested that style and celebrity go hand in hand – its often to the contrary- but as they’re not hugely famous I wasn’t sure that FC would have seen them. And since this is a red carpet site, generally eveyone featured is a celeb.

Oh I didn’t make that statement to cause a defensive front! I just felt like other new readers should be aware that FC showcases a wide variety of individuals on her blog. I’m sorry if it read more harshly then I intended :)
