I always say I hate celebs always wearing black, and pray that they incorporate more colour into their closets, now Katy Perry has done so…and then some.
The feisty singer was spotted leaving her concert at The Fillmore in New York last night wearing the multi-coloured Japanese-style printed Basso & Brooke Spring 2009 pant suit, with her taupe BE&G bag.
I don’t know about you, but I think she looks great. It’s a bold print, and she’s not shying away from it.
The runway platforms would have been preferred to the ballet flats, but she still works it with the flats, so kudos to her.

That’s what I love about Katy Perry, that she’s daring and wears clothes that are far from safe choices.
This suit looks GREAT on her, there are very few celebrities who would have pulled this look off. And I really like that she wore flats, it makes the whole look unique. Gorgeous!
I think she looks fabulous. The flats translate the outfit to real life beauty. I like that she left the super high ( and probably uncomfortable) shoes on the runway. I would have liked to see her carrying another bag though.

I loved that collection and love that suit. Love her flats, too. But I don’t like her overall look in it. I don’t think her personality works well with it.
