Opening Ceremony Of The 33rd HKIFF Gala Premiere, Hong Kong

Hong Kong actress, and ambassador of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Karen Mok, arrived at the premiere of Shinjuku Incident, looking adorable in her Roberto Cavalli floral gazare strapless mini dress.

The dress has raised fabric panels on the hips, with a skirt of tiered ruffles at the back.

She wore the dress with gold heels, and nude fishnet tights.

These Cavalli dresses become more appealing with each wearer.

The U.S. Fund For UNICEF’s TAP Project for The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation, LA

Nicole Richie is a pro at boho-chic dressing.

The mum-to-be channeled her usual 70s chic in a tie-dye blood red and blue silk maxi dress.

The dress does all the talking, as she kept her accessories to a minimum.

Rachel Zoe’s floor-sweeping yellow and grey ikat Jenni Kayne Spring 2008 gown is very much on the tribal trend.

The celebrity stylist works uptown boho, with wavy blonde locks and multiple gold bracelets for that I just ‘threw this together’ look.

Lauren Conrad opted for silk nude slouchy top with cute black shorts.

Her look was pulled together with Christian Louboutin peep-toes, a black clutch and a two necklaces.

Lauren is all smiles considering her Lauren Conrad Collection has been put on hold citing the “economic climate”. I guess us shoppers don’t want to purchase a $225 tank dress, which even Lauren won’t wear.

An Evening With Neil LaBute And Friends, New York

Kerry Washington wore a Celine silk blouse with an attached beaded necklace. I love her cute tangerine and white scorpion print Sariah skirt, which sits high on her waist.

She completed her look with black pumps.

Conde Nast Traveler 2009 Awards, Madrid

Aitana Sanchez Gijon wore a black strapless Oscar de la Renta Embroidered taffeta dress, which was presented in the Resort 2009 collection.

The beautiful actress completed her look with black and diamante embellished peep-toes.

Martina Klein certainly came to dazzle in her electric blue mini dress, which was embellished with silver sequins.

The model wore grey peep-toes, with complimented her grey Louis Vuitton clutch, and her art deco diamond bracelet.

Actress Clara Lago wore an alphabet black fringed flapper-style dress, with black pumps.

I love this one-shoulder striped dress, model Maria Leon is wearing. Her fuchsia pink accessories compliment her dress well.

TV personality Paula Vazquez wore a LBD, with a peek-a-boo bodice. Her look was livened up with a neon yellow clutch, and stunning gold jewelery.

Best Actress winner, Zhou Xun shows off her award, wearing stunning costume-made Burberry Prorsum gown.

The gown was made using the same delicate leafy lace, which we saw presented in the Spring 2009 collection.

Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh wore this lime green, one-shoulder Atelier Versace Fall 2008 gown. I’m not crazy about the colour, but I love the detail on the bodice.

Taiwanese actress Guey Lun-Mei, wore a gorgeous chiffon strapless Celine Spring 2009 dress with a leather waistband, which she has modified from the runway.

Although I love the more dramatic runway version, with the cap sleeves, visible white underlay, and leather details on the shoulders, the modification of Guey’s dress, was the right choice for her demure look.

I adore her updo, as it completes this sleek look.

Mainland Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing wore this tropical print Gucci Spring 2009 maxi dress.

This is the same dress which Rihanna wore on that infamous night of the Clive Davis pre- Grammy party.

The dress looks fine without a belt on the runway, as it billows in the model-made wind, but off the runway, I would prefer to see this dress with a belt, to prevent it looking like a tent. With the belt the dress and the wearer have more shape.

I love Fan’s blue glitter star clutch.

One of my favourite dresses of this event was worn by Hong Kong actress Gigi Leung.

I loved this Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2009 halter dress when it was first worn by Gwyneth Paltrow last year in black, but it’s just as outstanding on Gigi in red.

I was never a fan of the Fendi Spring 2009, and I wasn’t surprised that we haven’t seen much of it on the red carpet.

South Korean actress Lee Na-young adds so much charm and grace to this Fendi lace dress, it’s hard not to fall in love with it. A cute box clutch and gold heels complete her look.

Mainland Chinese actress Zhao Tao opted for the red over the pink runway version of this adorable Christian Dior Spring 2009 ultra mini dress.

I’m not crazy about her choice of footwear, but I admire her for wearing such short dress.

This is one of the plainest dresses on this red carpet, but I still find this Chloe Resort 2009 strapless column gown really beautiful.

Japanese actress Eri Fukatsu chose a very minimalist look. Only accessorizing her with a simple bracelet with her gown.

This has to be one of the best dressed red carpet events of the year.

I kinda knew it wouldn’t take long for Topshop to be inspired by the highly popular, and lusted after YSL caged heels.

Topshop’s version cost only £70, whereas the YSL cage booties cost €890.

The last time I liked anything Gemma Arterton wore on the red carpet, it was back in November when she arrived at the Quantum of Solace Royal World Premiere wearing a striking purple Balmain dress.

There have been many frock horrors since then, including her Missoni cocktail party dress last week.

The former Bond girl yesterday braved a cold London evening, to finally make an impression on the red carpet.

She wore a turquoise Marchesa Resort 2009 one-shoulder stretch crepe dress, with draped front overlay and a gold embroidered neckline.

I loved her pewter metallic sandals, with a beaded ankle cuff.

Until 3 weeks ago, British actress Talulah Riley was a brunette.

Last night she showed off her blonde ‘do for the first time on the red carpet.

The transformation is outstanding, her face really glows with her new ‘do. She’s gone from slightly Gothic, to a blonde bombshell.

I TOTALLY love the new do, as much as I love her navy blue Jasmine Di Milo asymmetrical dress.

The dress has a banded waist to give her a sexy silhouette, and a cute frilly peplum at the waist.

Talulah’s gold python heels completed this fab look.

Shenae Grimes arrived at the InStyle/Warner Bros. Golden Globes after party, wearing a taupe, jewel embellished, fringed Alberta Ferretti Spring 2009 dress.

The 90210 actress sported a half-up half-down hair do, and completed her look with matching strappy heels.

Mischa Barton wore the same fringed dress, when she attended The P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards, with a two-tone lace up booties, and metallic silver Sergio Rossi clutch for an added touch of glam.

Mischa wins for me, as I love her accessories, and I really don’t favour Shenae’s hair do.

It’s good to see Rihanna out and about, as she tries to put past events behind her.

Rihanna was spotted leaving Les Deux nightclub in Hollywood, after reportedly partying with Katy Perry and Hayden Panettiere.

Missoni was a hit last week, with the Missoni Cocktail Party in London, then a few days later, Rihanna wore a very distinctive Missoni playsuit, with the same Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, we saw on Rachel Bilson last week.

The playsuit has a plunging v neckline silk top with bell sleeves, a wide striped elasticated waist band, and knit shorts.

You can add this cute look to your closet by purchasing it from Lusia via Roma for €1,404.
