If you are a regular reader you will be able to read my mind.

Why did Zhang Ziyi wear those leggings?

I understand her zipping up the jacket on her Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 ensemble, as the top is sheer underneath, but the pants kill this look for me.

Zhang is pretty fearless on the red carpet, so this is very surprising, but I understand this is a press screening, so she may have wanted to tone down the look.

If that was the case, she should have lost the feathered skirt.

Eva Herzigova was the only one on this red carpet to opt for colour.

The supermodel evoked pure glamour in her red satin, strapless puffball Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2009 dress. This dress was presented in a black longer version, but I much prefer this look on Eva.

There’s something about a fur stole that instantly completes and perfects a look, but the tights are really annoying. This can be forgiven, as it was cold and rainy in London last night.

As lovely as Thandie Newton looks in this Preen Fall 2009 dress, my first thought was that I had seen her in this dress before.

Then I realize that it’s the hair that’s so familiar. Looking back on her photo archive, and her many red carpet appearances, you have to go back to September 2008 to see a different style, which is a shame, because I love her hair down.

Back to her black satin dress. I love the lace panels, which give her a bit of an edge without begin too revealing. I love how she always supports British labels.

Scarlett Johansson is gorgeous and buxom wearing this lace vintage Givenchy LBD, with satin champagne Louboutin’s.

She constantly gives us that old Hollywood look, which fits her so well.

We have been seeing a lot of Jacquetta Wheeler on the red carpet lately, and she’s like a breath of fresh air.

She always looks so statuesque and fresh faced.

Last night with gold strappy sandals she wore a RM by Roland Mouret Apollinaire taffeta gown.

The black full length one shoulder gown has a fishtail skirt, and a large slit to elegantly show-off a bit of leg.

With her nude t-bar Louboutin’s, Rachel Stevens wore a black strapless harem pants jumpsuit.

A bit more colour was added to her look, with a gold rope belt and a ivory clutch with gold detailing.

This edition of Wore Wore It Better? features 3 ladies, who have all worn this fabulous white Balmain studded leather jacket off the red carpet.

Lindsay Lohan was the trend setter. She was the first to wear this jacket over a Alexander Wang marble tank, whilst running some errands in LA last month.

Then came UK TV personality Louise Redknapp, who was spotted out with her husband in London last week wearing her jacket over a sheer top, and with black tapered pants.

She has already regained her enviable figure, just four months after giving birth to her second child.

Rihanna was spotted wearing the white jacket, whilst looking for a new house in the Hollywood Hills on Monday afternoon, which is reportedly owned by Christina Aguilera.

The singer wore her jacket with a grey tank, pale denim shorts, and the silver Barney’s exclusive Christian Louboutin Trash silver silngbacks, which I can imagine we’ll see a lot of, over the coming weeks/months.

Remember who you saw them on first.

Louise’s exposed bra looses her points, and although I originally applauded Lindsay’s efforts, I have to give this win to Rihanna. Firstly for the fierce heels, and secondly for making her slouchy look so hip with this jacket.

This amazing Balmain leather jacket is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter’s international site for £2,628/€3,402.

Diane Von Furstenberg and Elle celebrated International Women’s Month, which was held in their boutique in West Hollywood.

Whitney Port attended wearing ballet pumps, navy skinny pants, a grey tank top and a Diane von Furstenberg Chefly sequined blazer, whilst carrying her favourite Gucci hobo bag.

The long sleeve double breasted jacket in all-over gold sequins, was presented during the Spring 2009 collection with a gorgeous maxi dress.

This is not an ordinary jacket. It’s your party topper with undeniable DvF charm.

Purchase it from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $795, or the international site for £776/€824.

Here’s something we don’t see very often, Claudia Schiffer with a different hairstyle.

In her Vogue Italia March 2009 editorial shot by Patrick Demarchelier, the supermodel is entirely dressed in Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2009 collection.

It looks to have been a very difficult shoot, as she is crouching down in a back of a limo, with some very shapely, voluminous dresses, but she manages to look fieeeerce.

Miss Goodie-two-shoes even holds a cigarette in one of the pictures.
