Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Today in Canada, Beyonce Knowles will kick off her long awaited tour.

I have been particularly waiting to see her tour wardrobe, since it was announced that Parisian couturier Thierry Mugler, would be taking over the designing from Tina Knowles.

Mugler vision was the capture the duality between being a woman and a warrior.

Mulger said, “Sasha Fierce is another aspect of Beyonce’s personality. She is Fierce on stage and Beyonce in real life. I tried to understand these two sides with my own perception of both aspects.”

I think this looks outstanding, and I can picture B shakin’ her tail feather in this wonderful creation.

Victoria Beckham was wearing so much black, and her own collection, that I was no longer looking forward to what she wore next.

Victoria didn’t stay stale for long.

In London, she went for dinner with Kate Beckinsale wearing a fuschia pink Antonio Berardi drop waist dress coat, totally outshining her companion.

Monica Cruz wore the same dress in black – which I believe was the right choice for her – to her sisters premiere of Los Abrazos Rotos.

It’s hard to compete with Victoria when she’s on the top her game, so VB wins for me.

Browns Fashion don’t have the black nor the pink, but they have this stunning electric blue version for sale for £1,115.00/€1,180.77/$1,611.51.

Many of you were wowed by Milla Jovovich wearing this Roberto Cavalli Silk chain print gown.

The model/actress wore this gown, when she attended the Fortune Forum Summit cocktail party, at the Dorchester Hotel in London earlier this month.

The Cavalli sex appeal cannot be denied. The combination of the soft ivory colour, and the vibrant chain print, makes this piece one to wear.

Buy it now from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $4,395, or the international site for £1,977/€2,435.

Add a gold clutch, heels, and a cute gold hair accessory and like Milla, you will be the belle of the ball.

I was just about to applaud Ziyi Zhang for redeeming herself after her Louis Vuitton press screening look, when I scanned down to the pink suede shoes.

At her Forever Enthralled premiere today, Zhang wore a tropical print Gucci Spring 2009 asymmetrical dress, which was so incredible cute on her, but I’m not loving the orange, brown and white print dress, with the pink shoes.

Their seems to be a succession of ‘one small things’ throwing looks off balance at the moment. Katie Holmes’ leggings is another classic example.

Eva Longoria looked stunning in a chic mocha jersey Gucci dress, with gold strappy sandals.

I’m much preferring her softer curls on this occasion.

Christina Hendricks Black Halo strapless jumpsuit, has been modified with some tulle around the bust line to add a bit more pizazz to her look.

24 actress Annie Wersching wore a beautiful light green Gustavo Cadile strapless cocktail dress.

The beauty is in the way the dress shimmers in the light, and the colour against Annie’s complexion.

She completed her look with matching heels, and a Mary Norton python clutch.

Wow. I instantly fell in love with Cameron Richardson’s nude dress. I love how she accessorized it, with the statement necklace, shimmering clutch and nude heels.

Katie Cassidy wore a neon pink strapless Ina Soltani dress with black leather details. Her look was complete with a gorgeous pair of strappy sandals, and a black clutch.

Eva La Rue’s green knitted halter dress doesn’t leave much to the imagination.

I like Kim Kardashian’s strapless black dress, but the denim waist belt, is all kinds of confusing.

Jennie Garth wears a satin petrol blue strapless dress, with black pumps.

Jessica Lowndes black LBD, is on the right side of sexy.

Jewel continues to refuse to let her injury spoil a good night out. She put on her silver sparkling dress, matching pumps and hobbled her way to this event.

You have to admire her spirit. I would have been at home nursing my injury with a big tub of Häagen-Dazs.

Karina Smirnoff wears a simple strapless black White House Black Market dress, with a beaded zebra clutch, glass-pearl necklace and black peep-toes, but the hair and make-up REALLY let her down.

The Gucci Jackie Bag maybe familiar to some of you, but the coral bag which Salma Hayek is very fond of, is the Gucci New Jackie bag.

This new bag is a larger updated version of the classic bag, which also comes in gorgeous tan colour.

The bold coloured bag would compliment an all black outfit, or a floral dress like Salma’s above.

This luxurious leather bag has hand stitched detailing, and oversized tassels, giving this handbag a bohemian look, which Mischa Barton and Sienna Miller would love.

You can add this to your closet, by purchasing it from Saks.com for $3,100.
