Because of the bad economy their isn’t an official Mercedes-Benz L.A. Fashion Week. This didn’t stop Kevan Hall showing off his Fall 2009 collection yesterday. His collection was shown as part of a charity event with The Colleagues, benefiting The Children’s Institute.
Kevan presented First Lady worthy sheaths, along with structured dresses in tweed and wool.
The red carpet gown had a colour palette of earthy shades of ruby, bronze and brown.
The stand-out piece was the red one-shouldered gown.

Molly Sims wore a bright cranberry coloured one-shouldered dress custom-designed by Kevan Hall for the event. The dress was decorated with real, freeze-dried cranberries to promote a new cranberry body wash by Dial. I kid you not.

This event was full of colourful pieces and Angie Harmon kept that going wearing a fuschia pink satin dress.
This colour was all over the Fall 2009 runways, so Ms Harmon is getting on the trend train very early.

I’m not sure about those two shades of blue Garcelle Beauvais is wearing with her yellow cowl-neck dress. The shoes would have been enough.

Lisa Rinna wore a belted taffeta v neck shimmering green dress. This is a surprisingly sophisticated look for Lisa, after her shameless campaign to get herself back on Melrose Place.

Virginia Madsen wore a form-fitting leopard print Kevan Hall Fall 2008 dress, with gold strappy sandals, and a Mary Norton clutch. Gorgeous.
