Runway To “Duplicity” Paris Premiere – Julia Roberts In Lanvin

Julia Roberts is nothing but consistent. Her persistent to wear nothing but black, has got to the point that if she does wear another colour, I think I will faint from the shock.

Here she is AGAIN wearing black. This time she is wearing a Lanvin Resort 2009 black silk crepe trapeze cross-front evening gown.

I do like this gown, and I do think she made the right choice to wear this gown without the runway belt. I would have looked too contrived on Julia.

She added a few droplets of colour via her black satin pumps with multi-coloured crystal detailing from the Lanvin Spring 2009 collection.

A new, demure Roberts revealed that she’s, “kind of frightened of the red carpet. I really am. And, you know, it gets worse.”
“At one time, you could just come down the line, meet the fans, see the film and hopefully a good night is had by all,” she recalled fondly. “It’s changed. You have people checking out your dress from the minute you step onto the carpet and then, you know, it’s a hit or miss. That can be more frightening than the premiere.”
