International party girl, Mischa Barton was one of the many celebrities invited to attend the landmark Grand Opening of Atlantis, The Palm Resort, in Dubai last year.
She arrived on the red carpet with designer Matthew Williamson, wearing a one-shouldered gown from his Fall 2008 collection.
The silk lame gown was stunning, with a floral print, which Mischa wore with a few gold accessories.
TV personality Cat Deeley made a cardinal sin, by wearing a re-run to the 2009 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. There is one thing you and I hate, and that’s re-run on big occasions. There should be no excuse.
But in saying that Cat does wear it better, because her hair is all pulled back, therefore you get to see the ruffled detail on her shoulder, which Mischa covers with her hair.

I still don’t get why this was presented with a coat on the runway.

Admittedly Mischa makes the biggest boo-boo for not showing the gorgeous ruffle shoulder detail, but I think Cat Deeley is very boring, however beautiful. She does not bring clothes alive, I think Mischa gives this dress a bit more ‘something’.
Mischa safety is boho chic so this suits her more. The jacket on the runway is hideous with it.

I find it funny that when Mischa Barton first started appearing on the red carpet she was hailed as a fashion icon and she used to be so pretty and fresh and now she just looks – well the picture above says it all really! Have to say the dress suits Mischa’s style more than Cat Deely’s (does she even have a style?)
