Red Carpet Fashion Awards

At the launch of Diane Von Furstenberg’s “Wonder Woman” collection Becki Newton attended wearing a Diane von Furstenberg Benny sheath dress in green.

The Ugly Betty actress wore her dress with black patent pumps.

At the NYLON Magazine party to celebrate their American Issue cover girls Paris Hilton was the guest of honour back in November. She wore the same dress also with black pumps.

I do not like Paris’ hairstyle, so Becki wins this for me.

This dress is available to purchase from the Net-A-Porter US site reduced from $365 to $219 and it is also reduced on the international site from £318 to £159/€394 to €197.

Whether it is flowing gowns or cute mini dresses, Olivia Wilde wears anything well, like this cream and black printed Sue Stemp Spring 2009 dress, with a black sash.

She completes her look with Jimmy Choo Glenys Elaphe snakeskin sandals.

I love this silver strapless J. Mendel Pre -Fall 2009 dress on Lisa Edelstein. I have not been a fan of what she has worn for a while, so this is a welcome return to her best.

Emily Deschanel’s all black ensemble is made interesting with its touches of gold embellishments, trims and accents.

I wish Kelly Osbourne would smile more. I know it is all part of her image to be a moody, but a smile would have made me love her look a whole lot more.

Whilst looking at Emma Robert’s gladiators heels, from when she attended the InStyle/Warner Bros. Golden Globe After Party, I could not help but drool.

The gorgeous heels are by Pour La Victoire, and they are adorably named Bianca.

Don’t you just love it when they name shoes?

Pour La Victoire means “for the victory”, so you will be both victorious, and glamourous in these heels, which you can buy from Shopbop.com for $292.

The peep-toe booties come in both in nubuck and leather in various colours.

Pour La Victoire have a wide -lusty worthy- collection of shoes, which you can see on their website.

Amanda Seyfried sleeveless blue embellished Chloe Fall 2008 dress is stunning, but her black web-like Jimmy Choo ‘Samoa’ Cage Sandals are to-die-for.

OMG they’re gorgeous. *hyperventilating*

Speaking of gorgeous, Ginnifer Goodwin took to the red carpet wearing another stunning dress.

Her creamy asymmetrical tiered Camilla and Marc dress is ultra-feminine, I simply adore her here. Her dress is worn with black tights and pointy pumps.

Her sleek updo and minimal accessories allowed the mini to stand out and shine.

Normally the tights would bother me, but she looks so cute, that on this occasion I don’t care.

Chloé Sevigny is normally the one to look to, in terms of being fashion forward. On this occasion she gives us the cold shoulder in this white Marios Schwab Spring 2009 dress, with a dangerously high thigh split, which is not to my liking. She can, and has done much better.

Chloé adds an ethnic-style drawstring bag and strappy sandals, to complete her look.

Anne Hathaway has been wowing us for the last few months, since Rachel Zoe started styling her. As a result I fallen in love with her.

As the saying goes, ‘All good things come to an end’, and her magnificent run was ruined last night, when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing this black and gold Chanel Fall 2008 Couture sleeveless dress, with feather detailing and a belt to nip in her waist.

She accessorized with black Chanel pumps and Bvlgari jewels.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like the dress. Hair and make-up is gorgeous, but the dress….No. It feels too old for her.

The Chanel Fall 2008 Couture collection, was not my favourite, and since Diane Kruger and Cameron Diaz fail to impress in this collection, my advice to everyone else is steer clear.

Unless of course you’re Anna Wintour, because it appears that the Chanel Fall 2008 Couture collection was made for her.

Many of you have accused Amy Adams of continuing to play it safe. I would say that there’s nothing safe about this one-shoulder nude Giambattista Valli dress with a black tulle overlay.

Heather Graham wowed in this plunging red maxi dress.

I must say I forgot how beautiful she is.

I really love this ombre strapless YSL dress, with a cute bow detail on the waist. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s Salma Hayek’s style. It’s a little to cutesy for her, but I love the colour against her skin.

All the ladies were of course blinged out with Bvlgari jewels.

Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, is a great advert for her brand.

She wore this midnight blue Marchesa jeweled Grecian gown, when she attended the Metropolitan Opera’s 125th season opening night gala in New York during September.

Her asymmetrical gown has with a silver embellished trim, and a draped overlay. She complimented her gown perfectly with silver accessories.

You can purchase this gorgeous gown from Net-A-Porter’s US site for $4,840, or the international site £3,602/€4,795.
