Shoe Of The Year 2008 - YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps

You could not swing a Fendi handbag on the red carpet without bumping into a celebrity wearing a pair of YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps in 2008.

Coco Rocha was the first to be seen wearing these gorgeous platform shoes back in July, and they soon became the red carpet staple.

Although these heels are very high at 5Â½”, they are surprisingly very comfortable to wear in comparison to Louboutin’s.

The shoes came in black leather and black patent leather, and the soles varied from blue, black and yellow.

Victoria Beckham was surprisingly one of the last to hop onto this trend.

When I first noticed this shoe it screamed ‘hooker shoe’ to me, and I tought how can YSL put this out there.

Since then, it has grown on me. But it’s still one of thoes things that I think not everyone can pull off.

I made someone return a pair of these actually.

They’re about $800 I thought!
