CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute Red Carpet

I am in actual shock that Jessica Biel thought that this two-tone Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2006 dress was a good idea.

The yellow/taupe colour combinations are interesting, but the bodice is too busy and looks unfinished with the knot and asymmetric detail.

Although boring Biel tried to spice things up, it just does not work for me.

Kate Beckinsale wore a satin YSL dress with a gold lining, which very much looked like a robe.

She wore her dress with black patent belt which also had a gold lining and black platform sandals.

Leelee Sobieski wore maxi kimono dress, which was printed with light pastel stripes and circles.

She carried a yellow clutch, which complimented the stripes on her dress and her necklace.

Salma Hayek shows off her asset in this plunge-neck electric blue Gucci gown. Unfortunately it is really creased, and looks like it could do with a iron going over it.

Lucy Liu continues to set the red carpet on fire with another stunning dress.

Her LBD really shines in the light, and the exaggerated hips gives her a nice silhouette.

Eliza Dushku sure does grab your attention in this split to the thigh Dolce & Gabbana gown.

That poor man looks like he is about to keel over.

Selena Gomez wore an ivory ruffled top with a black pencil skirt and black pumps.

I love the look, but the bangs aren’t cut correctly, as the left side appears longer than the right side.

Taylor Swift wore a similar look to Selena, but her dress is a Trina Turk Astra dress with a satin dress, a split V neck and jeweled banding at waist.

She completes her look with black peep-toes.

Rachael Leigh Cook keeps it simple in a LBD, but it is her pink butterfly adorned bag that really stands out.

Molly Sims jeweled brooch really made her two-toned grey black halter Alberta Ferretti gown more interesting.

~Taylor Swift looks like a more polished secretary here and is dull.
~Selena Gomez bores me to death with awful bangs in which the left side is longer than the right side. You are seventeen- not a secretary. Plus, the skirt length should be a little bit more above the knee.
~Salma Hayek really needs to put her breasts away. They are what comes to mind when I think of her and that is not a good thing at all- for both of us. She is a talented actress and her breasts should not be what is remembered of her.

As usual, Jessica looks boring again although she tried. The whole thing is just not working for her. Try harder again.

Jessica – I don’t like the combination of the color her dress. Looks kinda drab and curtain-ish.

Kate – Yummy as usual. But her outfit’s a bit loose on her, doesn’t emphasize the curves on her body. Im lovin the satin though.

Leelee- her tall frame is perfect for her flowy satin kimono dress. The color combination’s very sun-shiny too.

Salma – she would’ve looked better if she did something with her hair. She looks so plain, if not for her oversized chest. And yeah, the dress needs a bit of ironing.

Lucy – I’m not exactly digging her dress as it looks a bit huge on her hips.

Eliza – Sultry. sultry. sultry. Her classic look is very sophisticated, even her dress looks a bit simple.

Selena – her bangs is disturbing. The dress suits her fine but it looks a bit older for her age. Maybe if she wore it in a brighter hue instead of the black/white combination, it would work. It looks like she’s going to work or something.

Jessica Biel – awfull, as usual (in the last couple of months).

Kate Beckinsale – amazing, as usual. Unfortunately she’s out of the shortlist for next Oscars, but it’s good to know she was considered as many consider her a bad actress, which she’s not offcourse.

Leelee Sobieski – WOW. I was watching Joy Ride the other day and she is so hot.

Salma Hayek – she’s slowly turning into Liz Hurley, always the same type of dress.

Lucy Liu – stunning, as always.

Eliza Dushku – i haven’t seen her in a while, she’s still got it.

Selena Gomez – that haircut should be forbbiden by law.

    Taylor Swift – sweet.

Rachael Leigh Cook – i haven’t seen her in a while either, i barely recognized her. Black means boring to me and this is no exception.

    Molly Sims – nothing impressive.

Why is selena dressing like a 30 year old woman who works in an office? She’s only 15 so she should try having a bit more fun with her outfits! Especially the colours
I dont like her bangs. They dont suit her and as you said they arent cut properly.

I love Molly’s gown! Its gorgeous

    Kate Beckinsale is always impressive.

And it looks like Jessica Biel is still under some kind of Justin spell. Bad bad choice for a dress.

Biel is improving nontheless it just looks wrong rather than looking like it just had the life sucked out of it.

I realize it’s hard to dress a teen for the red carpet, but Selena is only 15 and her oufit belongs to an adult woman.

Biel tried and failed again. I like and dislike this dress. Yes the color combination is interesting but the taupe color is just too dull, especially with the matching shoes. The top also looks like it doesn’t fit and her shoulders are too broad. It seems to me like she tried to be va-va-voom but this CNN event isn’t the place for that in my opinion. She ended uo being not special again. And it seems she’s doing similar looks to what she has recently done: strapless dress and almost the same hair as the MoMa event.

Love Selena’s look. The bangs are fake, probably clip ons since I have seen recent candids of her with longer bangs.

    Love Lucy’s dress.
Love the color of Salma’s dress.
    Taylor looks nice.
    Rachel looks adorable.
    Don’t like Molly’s look.

Also absent from this post is Cameron Diaz. I’m interested to see what you think about her look.
