Runway To Red Carpet – Eva Mendes In Viktor & Rolf

Eva Mendes would have definitely turned heads today in her strapless multi-tiered Viktor & Rolf Fall 2008 gown, when she arrived to the official launch party for ACP Magazineâ€™s 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty in Sydney earlier today.

I like the dress, especially the staple details, but I am not sure if it is an “Eva Mendes” type of dress, as I would expect someone with an edgier fashion style to wear this.

I much prefer the dress on the runway, as the stands out, whereas they fall a little flat on the red carpet, therefore it mutes all the dramatic nature of the dress.

I love it… her hair & make-up is wat is lack luster but not her SHOES!!!

It think it’s not a dress a bombshell type can carry off well, and if they could it would be with totally different make up and hair.
The poster is very diplomatic – it doesn’t suit Eva at all frankly and she doesn’t make it her own.

But I would have to admire her for the fact of experimenting different designers and trying different "tone" of dresses. Come on, it's Viktor & Rolf? I'm giving her a tick on boldness.
