Jewelry is back in a big way. The Fall 2008 runways showed us bigger is better when it comes to wearing multiple necklaces, or one large statement necklace this Fall.
Givenchy paid homage to the A Team’s Mr T, whilst Dries van Noten used multiple bangles as necklaces.
A signature necklaces force everything else to take a back-seat, so if you adopt this trend, don’t expect people to notice your £500 Louboutin’s.
Of course celebs are not waiting for Fall to adopt this trend. We have seen Madonna (Givenchy), Blake Lively, Scarlett Johansson (Sonia Boyajian) and Sarah Jessica Parker (Erickson Beamon) already wear this trend more than once.
This trend is already in stores and on the internet, so glam up your look with pendants, chains down to the waist and unusual trinkets and shapes.
