Jessica Biel appears in the August 2008 US edition of Harper’s Bazaar after keeping a very low profile this year.

In a unique editorial Jessica hits the dance floor with five of fashion’s favorite designers which was shot by and Peter Lindbergh.

You can read the whole interview here, but here are some extracts.

On marriage: “I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘I have to, have to, have to have it.’ But the idea of being with somebody I care about, who’s my soul mate, that sounds groovy.”

On having children:I think when you make a decision to have a family and children, everything else comes second. But if I choose to have a family, I would hope to create a balance, because I don’t want to lose my sense of identity, my career, and my independence.”

On the food in Columbia, S.C. (where she’s filming her new movie Nailed): “I love the food. I really have to hold myself back because if I had my choice, I would eat fried green tomatoes and goat cheese all day, every day.”

what an awful cover, i mean , it looks like an “instyl magazine” cover. but the inside shoots are amazing, i adore her pic with zac posen. i think she is more the style of maxim and GQ magazine. she is way to hot for bazaar, bazaar is classier, more legant, more chic not as sexy as she is. but she`s good though, i am soo buying the magazine.

i do love the uniqueness of the designers included in the photos but i wish they had chosen someone with more style than jessica biel..shes ok on the red carpet but there are more actresses who would have looked amazing in the clothes

I totally agree. This was such a fun concept, but Biel has no personality and it shows in all her pictures. Sarah Jessica Parker would have been perfect for this shoot.

She would have brought the romance this shoot needed and is very much lacking.

i completely agree they should’ve chosen someone completely different.

Wished they’d chosen someone else than Biel. The concept is really good and something unusual but there’s something missing in the phots, I mean, DvF totally owns the first photo! I’d love to see what Victoria Beckham, Michelle Williams or Lucy Liu would have done. The last one with Zac Posen kind of reminds me of a photo shoot Victoria did for British Elle in 2005 (a photo shoot I love).
