Dinner In Honor Of Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday, London

A dashing Will Smith arrived with his wife Jada Pinnkett-Smith, who was wearing a olive Monique Lhuillier Fall 2008 sheath dress, which had peacock feathers around the neckline.

Denzel Washington arrived looking very dapper in his black suit, shirt and tie combo, with his wife, Pauletta Pearson who was wearing a black asymmetric top and a Prada Resort 2008 pouffy skirt.

Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha arrived both wearing navy. She was wearing a satin Lanvin Fall 2007 dress, with a stunning pair of embellished sandals.

Naomi Campbell brought not only her new boyfriend, but the high-end glamour to this event wearing a sexy black chiffon gown.

Oprah Winfrey made a rare visit to London wearing a black and white ensemble. The chat-show host was clever enough to bring a clutch that doubled up as a fan, to keep her cool, as London was very warm yesterday.

Katherine Jenkins arrived wearing a blush pink Christian Dior by John Galliano strapless gown with fold details.

I have a thing about strapless gown being worn with the hair up and a bare neck, as I believe it makes you look more statuesque, so I am not loving Katherine in this gown. I much prefer it on the first time it was worn by a celebrity.

Kim Cattrall wore a Versace toga dress.

I am not crazy about the colour on her, and I think a belt may have made a dramatic difference.

With minimal make-up and a strapless pink Missoni gown accentuated with a gold belt, Leona Lewis is, as always, simply beautiful, and it’s effortless.

Heidi Range (L), Amelle Berrabah and Keisha Buchanan of SugaBabes arrived in various gown.

Heidi opted for a coral Jenny Packham gown, which has blue accents, which was worn by Tyra Banks this year.

Amelle wore a stunning metallic haltered gown with silver accents, but ruined her look with that bright red lipstick and blusher.

Keisha amped up the glam wearing a stunning belted orange gown.

Lewis Hamilton arrived with his Pussycat Doll girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, who decided this event was a great place to show off her bra.

Note to Nicole: You are dining in with Nelson Mandela, not getting chicken wings at Hooters my dear.

I am more than disappointed that Uma Thurman is not playing the red carpet game. What is the point in taking the time to dress nice if you are not going to show it off?

It was a warm day in London, take off the trench.

“The Wackness” Screening, New York

Mary-Kate Olsen has come out of hiding. It has been a while since we saw the boho chick on the red carpet, and she did not disappoint from the ankles up.

Mary-Kate wore a beautiful white vintage Lanvin maxi dress with a navy waist belt, but opted to wear orange Sonia Rykiel shoes with it, which totally ruined the look for me.

“The Wackness” After Party, New York

This floral dress is not really working for me either, as it appears a little too big and her posture is slightly hunched over.

Selita Ebanks decided to mix it up a little by wearing a tuxedo jacket with an ultra mini skirt.

I hope her hair is just pulled back, as it looks like she may have gone for the chop.

Vogue España Magazine 20th Anniversary Party, Madrid

Claudia Schiffer wore a stunning white and grey sequined Chanel Spring 2008 gown that had been modified from the runway.

The model has been out and about many times this week, and has looked nothing short of flawless. As you would expect.

Monica Cruz wore a sexy navy haltered dress and gave us that sexy latin look that she does so well.

Actress Paz Vega opted for a black strapless Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2008 gown, which has a beautiful floral detail on the hem.

For Esther Canadas it was all about the back of her Roberto Cavalli dress, as she constantly posed with her back to the paparazzi.

The model arrived with designer Robert “I am the party” Cavalli.

Jade Jagger arrived in a short black and gold strapless mini from her own Jezebel collection.

Why borrow when you can wear your own?

BILD OSGAR Award, Germany

Naomi Campbell, another supermodel out and about a lot this week, showed her pure side in this white haltered gown with crystal detail by Dolce & Gabbana.

I have the same opinion, Mary Kate’s shoes ruined the look and also Uma’s trench. The best maybe is the Paz Vega’s dress.

i don’t think that nicole scherzinger was any less decent than naomi campbell at the nelson mandela party…naomi’s chiffon gown shows just as much skin as nicole’s lace shirt…

I have been waiting for this comment all day, as I knew someone would compare the two.

Naomi dress has more class. Naomi you would see on a runway whereas Nicole’s you would see at the Playboy mansion or a Frederick’s of Hollywood catalogue.

  5. Georgia Maude says:

Or you might see Naomi in jail, or assaulting her employees or other workers–yes, that’s class (and I don’t believe for a minute she was provoked by a racial slur–we all encounter those and yet I don’t see the rest of us assaulting people). She couldn’t wear a garment beautiful enough to offset her toxic behavior. She’s an embarrassment.

That said, Jada’s dress is stunning on her!

Umm, i don’t like what Denzel’s wife is wearing…Too much black for me. keisha Whitaker looks smashing hot, i’ absolutely loving her makeup as well…flawless.

Love love love what naomi campbell’s wearing…it definately looks much better than Nicole’s ensemble. You’re right about Kim’s dress, a belt would have made a world of difference.

Monica cruz looks statesque in her outfit. The only people who might have worn it better would be Dita Von Teese and Jennifer Lopez; maybe

Will and Jada look fantastic, they compliment each other very well – ditto Forest and Keisha Whittaker, but then, she always looks nothing short of elegant. Oprah looks ridiculous, let’s be honest. She looks like she’s in costume for ‘little house on the prairie’. I think my favourite here is actually Leona Lewis – not too sombre, beautiful, elegant and perfectly attired for a birthday celebration on a sunny London day!

I agree with all your points, even the one about Big Mama O, but I love her too much to diss her publicly

I love Mary-Kate’s dress. Shoes are horrible tough. She looks totally different when she smiles, she looks alot like Ashley when she smiles.

    Leona is stunning.

anyone else notice how nicole’s outfit looks a lot like a bad rip off of prada fall 2008, minus the edginess and sophistication?…right down to the little peplum around the waist…

I’d go for Keisha Whitaker. They’re just stunning every time. Couldn’t agree more about Nicole’s lace shameful number. Also I’m puzzled about Uma’s dress. I usually love her dresses so not being able to see it well because of the trench is a loss. Oh well…
