Project Runway host Heidi Klum first wore this silver metallic Roberto Cavalli Spring 2008 mini dress to Elton John's Annual AIDS Foundation Oscar Party in LA back in February.
The 5ft 10 model wore her dress with a pair of silver pumps, a silver box clutch and silver earrings.
Newlywed Mariah Carey, aka Mimi, wore the same dress when she performed at the Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World event in New York last night.
The singer wore her dress with a pair of silver strappy sandals and her $2.5 million wedding ring.
Mimi's strappy sandals work better with this type of dress, so she wins for me.

I thought no one could outdo Heidi, she was on a roll that night... but the dress looks so right on Mimi. She's totally owning it and it hugs her in all the right places. Spot on about the shoes, I must say.
