Red Carpet Trends - White Hot Shoes

Regular readers will know that I am not a fan of white shoes, as they always conjure up images of the white shoes I was forced to wear at various weddings as a kid, and the stereotype of Essex girls in their white stilettos, but you can see from the Spring 2008 runway shoes, that white shoes can be hot.

This particular trend very much crept up on me, as it is less obvious than the floral trend of the summer.


On the red carpet we have, unexpectedly, seen white pumps, wedges and pointy stilettos appearing at many events.

These white shoes really stand out against the red (or orange carpet), and make a bold statement which is, LOOK AT ME.
