Christian Dior Cruise 2009

As you would come to expect from John Galliano, his Christian Dior's Cruise 2009 collection was extremely colourful and 60s inspired.
The palette consisted of colours such as corals, fuchsias, magentas and limes giving the collection a very luxurious extravagant feel to it.
Gallino sent models down the runway in capri pants, jackets, peasant blouses, tiered dresses, red carpet dresses and the odd animal print to get Sharon Stone very excited.
The trapeze voluminous silhouette was very evident on the runway, which would be great to hiding those post-pregnancy bulges, which maybe why new mothers Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera were in the front row.
Standard Galliano details like bows, glizty embellishments and platform heels, went along with unusual pieces such as the large chic sombreros.

These will surely be the next IT bags. Prepare to join the waiting lists.

I adore the gowns and dresses more than I do the bags.
