Katie Holmes wore this black and white Alexander McQueen silk ballerina necklined draped dress to the First Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon with her husband.

She wore her dress without the black satin waist belt.

You may recoginse this dress, as both Lucy Liu and Sienna Miller have worn the runway versions of this on the red carpet.

I definitely prefer Lucy Liu since she was the only one who wore the belt.

what is tom wearing??? a lilac wool vest under a doubel breasted … oh my eyes hurt.
this is brave for katie, a more avant garde look, though she has een wearing a few spare dresses. i don;t think this works on her. and her hair is wrong. this is an odd miss-step for katie who has been gettign very strong and classy looks lately.
