Best Dressed Award
Amanda Bynes on her first major awards ceremony stood out from all the other veterans wearing this gorgeous Marchesa 2008 Resort strapless embellished gown.
Love the hair, but might have been better pulled back.

Joint Best Colour Award
This strapless cobalt blue L’Wren Scott Spring 2008 gown on Kyra Sedgwick was pure perfection.
Kyra has an amazing body, and this dress showed it off.

Joint Best Colour Award
These pictures do not do Vanessa Williams bright canary yellow Escada gown any justice. I was more even more vivid on TV.
Everything here is perfect, excluding her tan lines.

Best Over 50 Award
Glenn Close is stunning. Amazing for her 60 years.
I wish Meryl Streep would dress like this on the red carpet.

Risk That Paid Off Award
I know most of you probably hated this dress on Sandra Oh, but I loved it.
She took a risk by not choosing a major well known designer, but for me it works.
I loved the bow and the colours.

Most Fashion Forward Award
None of the other ladies on the red carpet would have dared to wear this sculpted Nina Ricci Spring 2008 strapless gown, and that is why I love Ellen Pompeo.

Best Embellishments Award
Debra Messing in Oscar de la Renta Spring 2008 stepped away from her usual black and her usual Michael Kors.
I loved the embellishments on the dress the first time I saw it on the runway, but I never picture Debra wearing it, but she does pull it off.

Best Haute Couture Award
Despite not going to any of the Haute Couture Fashion Shows at Paris Fashion Week last week, Christina still managed to get this Elie Saab Fall 2007 gown.
In typical Elie Saab fashion, the gown is embellished and uber glamourous.

Best Red Carpet Pose Award
No one can do that “sticking your ass out, while looking over your shoulder seductively pose” quite like Eva Longoria. So it was no wonder she chose a sexy Naeem Khan Spring 2008 backless dress to show of her derrière.
I am glad that there are no bangs in sight, and I see that Eva continues to favour the curly do for red carpet appearances.

Joint Best Black Award
Sans her fiance Michael Bolton, Nicollette Sheridan was stunning on the red carpet last night wearing a black strapless Marchesa gown.
This is by far the best I have ever seen her look.

Joint Best Black Award
Ana Oritz was smokin’ hot in this Pamela Dennis black body hugging gown.

Best Arm Candy Award
Keisha Whittaker looked so cute wearing this bubble gum pink Jenny Packham Spring 2008 sweetheart necklined gown.
She is always the perfect accessory for Forest Whittaker.

Most Improved Award
Brittany Snow has had a very inconsistent red carpet of late, but she looks great here in this Zuhair Murad sequined gown.

Best Pre-Fall 2008 Dress Award
Most Pre-Fall 2008 dresses are not usually red carpet ready, but Teri Hatcher looks divine in this floral Badgley Mischka Pre-Fall 2008 fishtailed gown.
I laughed when she was interviewed and she said that the did not believe in botox.

Best White Award
Becki Newton is back to her best wearing an Elsie Katz Couture white sequined dress.
I particularly love the tiered skirt.

Best Jewels Award
I loved Sara Ramirez’ jewels by H. Stern and Bo Chic. Her earrings were a perfect compliment to her satin strapless fuschia Angel Sanchez Spring 2008 gown.

Meh…Just OK Award
Ashely Tisdale stood up well on such a big stage wearing this white Badgley Mischka Spring 2008 dress.

Back To Her Best Award
Marion Cotillard looks beautifully chic in this corseted, pleated, and gathered Nina Ricci Spring 2008 gown.

Best Hair Award
Marcia Cross is wearing a Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2008 teal gown. I think the colour works well with her red hair.

Best Colour Block Award
Jamie-Lynn Sigler is wearing an ensemble from Calvin Klein. The teal skirt is from the Calvin Klein Pre-Fall 2008 collection.

Who Was Your Best Dressed At The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala?

I loved Amanda Bynes’ dress SO MUCH. It was absolutely gorgeous. Her hair reminded me of Little House on the Prairie, but at least it’s different from her usual boring hairstyle.
Nicolette Sheridan seems to only look good when she keeps it simple: simple black dress, simple straight hair.
Eva Longoria looked stunning. Her dress really flatters her. It makes me jealous of her body.
Ana Oritz looked really great. I don’t remember seeing her in a dress that I particularly liked in the past, but she looked amazing tonight.
Becki Newton is just so cute and adorable. I loved her dress.
I agree whole-heartedly with Ashley Tisdale. I thought her dress was cute, but not really right for the SAG awards. Everyone around her is wearing such huge designers, and I think she should’ve splurged a bit, or at least tried to stand out more.
Ashley Tisdale is in Badgely Mishka and Brittany Snow in Zuhair Murad but got to say agree with you…Bynes’ gown is really good and quite the best!
Thanks for the quick update!!!
My favorite dresses were Ana Oritz’s + Keisha Whittaker
WOW Amanda Bynes looking good. About time!
I love Eva Longoria and Christina Applegate (how did she get that dress so quickly?), they look amazing, but the best dressed for me has to be Marcia Cross, this is her best look i’ve seen yet. Amazing dress, great hair, she’s simply glowing.
I’ve just seen pix of Kate Beckinsale on JustJared and i have to say she was the best dressed of the night. Stunning!
Thanks Priyanka
Madi, I totally agree, Ashley should have splashed out more.
I’m glad colour finally back on the red carpet.
sandra oh’s dress is a couture version of a hanbok (traditional korean dress), it’s such a cool idea!
