Senator Obama hosted the “Los Angeles Generation Obama Concert” this month which Kerry Washington attended wearing this gorgeous structured jacket from the Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2008 collection.

Kerry teamed her jacket with a black pencil skirt and simple black pumps.

She is has improved a lot this year on the red carpet and has great style. I would never have thought she would choose such a avant garde jacket, which suits her so well.

I am very much looking forward to what she brings next year.
