Charlize Theron wore a modified, shorter version of the same dress as she arrived to attend the “In The Valley Of Elah” Photocall today at the Venice Film Festival.
funnily enough, i don’t think that’s a modified, shorter version – i think that’s the exact same dress. charlize is damn near 6′ tall and built like a goddess – richie is just grazing 5′ and built like gollum. that said, i prefer the flapper-esque look that richie has going on.

It looks modified to me. There’s a ribbon around the collar on both dresses, and the end of the ribbon on Charlize’s dress is much closer to the hem line than on Nicole’s.

I’m going with ‘modified’ as well.
In the pictures, their shoulders, knees and feet are all around the same ‘latitude’, but the dress hem is out by much more than that.
Even though Charlize is taller, their upper body is around the same, it’s just the legs that make a difference.
