One of Angelina’s first red carpet appearances as an adult was for the premiere of ‘Playing God’ in October 1997. She obviously never had a stylist.
For her Oscar win she went Goth in this floor lengthed black dress and dramatic make-up.

In 2001 Angelina lighted up on the dramatic make-up but wore leather for her ‘Lara Croft’ premiere.
Also in 2001 she was all-white for the 73rd Oscars. A dramatic difference to her appearance in 2000.

For the 2002 Golden Globes the gothic make-up makes a comeback.
At the Cannes Film Festival in 2004, Angelina returns to a masculine suit although the face and make-up is very soft.

Angelina keeps up the Oscar white for her 2004 Oscar appearance in this floor length gown.
She returns to black for the ‘Alexander’ LA premiere. This dress is amazing and shows off her perfect figure.

In 2005 the ‘Mrs & Mrs Smith’ premiere saw Angelina walk the red carpet in her most sexiest outfit yet. The floor length leather dress had many men (including Brad no doubt) weak at the knees.
For the ‘Good Shephard’ premiere in 2006, Angelina looked very gaut and thin in this black dress with silver embellishments.

The ‘God Grew Tired Of Us’ premiere this year Angelina kept up the black theme in this ensemble which was well co-ordinated with her partner.
At this years Golden Globes, Angelina wore this grey St. John’s dress which I hated on her. I was very disappointed that the Jolie-Pitts first red carpet appearance would be her in this dress.

And then……YELLOW. There was a collective jaw-drop when Angelina stepped out with her beau in this Emanuel Ungaro yellow gown for the ‘Ocean’s 13′ premiere in Cannes last week. Hopefully this is the stepping stone to seeing Angelina break away from the dark side of her closet and embrace the lighter side.

Oh I really loved her grey dress (despite all the problems she had with it, apparently). Grey seemed cool and subversive among all that glitter at the time (but she looks great in the yellow too).

a little ray of sunshine…
That yellow gown was … out of this world. oh and yellow is my favourite colour! I wish she would look at this picture and decide to give us all a treat like that. Does she have a stylist?
